What's the difference with Super Ultra Sharpie?+
The tip and the format. Neo has a fine point, identical to that of a standard-size Sharpie, ideal for close-up situations. Super Ultra Sharpie has a chisel tip, ideal for everything from close-up to stage. Ultra Sharpie Neo is built on the standard-size Sharpie, the most universally recognized magic marker, while Super Ultra Sharpie is built on the Super Sharpie format. Both share the same hidden camera technology, USB-C charging and full app ecosystem.
What's the difference with the original Ultra Sharpie?+
The original Ultra Sharpie uses the King Size Sharpie format. Ultra Sharpie Neo uses the standard-size Sharpie, the one most magicians and audiences recognize as "the" Sharpie. Neo also features USB-C charging and a refined battery system.
Is the paper normal?+
Yes, plain paper with microdot printing. The app includes PDFs to send to a professional print shop, so you won't need to buy refills. Works with Post-its, business cards, or any paper you can print on.
Do I need an impression pad?+
No. No impression pad. Just a classic Sharpie and paper. That's the whole point of Ultra Sharpie Neo: clean, direct, and as natural as it gets.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?+
Yes, on both. The app also includes ongoing updates based on new ideas and user feedback.

Does it feel different? Is it heavier?+
No. The weight is almost identical to a regular Sharpie.
Is the camera visible?+
The hole is near the tip, so no spectator will see it. Depending on the lighting, it is hard to notice. Even you won't notice the difference.
What if a spectator looks directly at the hole?+
It's very unlikely they'll notice. Even if they do, they'll just see a tiny hole that looks like a vent or part of the design.
How do you charge the battery?+
Via USB-C, a full charge takes just 30 to 60 minutes.
How long does the battery last?+
It has a long-lasting battery. Depending on use, when turned on it lasts approximately 8 hours. If you turn it off after using it, it will last for weeks before you need to charge it again.
How do you refill the ink?+
Apply a few drops of the recommended stamp ink directly to the tip, as shown in the instruction video. We recommend Pelikan Stamp Ink.
Can I use another type of ink or permanent ink?+
Yes, you can use any type of ink. In the instructions, we explain why the ink we recommend is Pelikan Stamp Ink.
Does it connect automatically?+
Yes, it connects automatically when you turn it on using the power button.
What if the phone is out of range?+
It has a 20-30 meter range. A dot on the writing screen indicates the connection status.

Yes. Every Ultra Sharpie Neo comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong with your unit during normal use within the first year, we'll repair or replace it free of charge. Does it require Wi-Fi?+
No. Ultra Sharpie Neo connects to your phone via Bluetooth.
Can I print more sheets?+
Yes. The package includes PDF files in different sizes. Use a professional printing service, home printers are not suitable.
Can I print business cards with my logo?+
Yes, on any thickness of card. You just need to print the microdot pattern on them.
